Consultation: Proposed deletion of Neighbourhood Plan Policy ENV5 (Valued Landscape Policy)

The Cliddesden Neighbourhood Plan is now in the process of being examined.

On 28 February 2024, the examiner wrote to BDBC and the Parish Council

expressing concerns about submission Neighbourhood Plan Policy ENV5 (Valued

Landscape Policy), and indicating that she would recommend that the policy should

be deleted. In light of this, the examiner asked the Parish Council whether they

wished to withdraw the plan or continue with the examination.

The policy can be viewed on page 74 of the submission plan. The submission plan

and the letter from the examiner can be viewed on the B&DBC website here:

The Parish Council has decided to continue with the examination of the

Neighbourhood Plan. The examiner has therefore requested an additional two week

consultation to enable all interested parties to make comments on the proposed

deletion of Policy ENV5 (Valued Landscape Policy). Please note that the examiner

will not accept correspondence on any other aspects of the Plan.

If you would like to comment on this matter, please submit representations
